Seeking God's path of righteousness

This is specially posted for the newcomers in my church and my dearest friends who yet to know god.

Matthew 7:7 says:' enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road the leads to life and only a few find it.

Seeking god's path of righteousness is indeed a tough journey; even Jesus said that it is always a more difficult path. It is a path that passes through rough terrains up the steep slope, passing through many mountainous regions. But this path leads right to the kingdom of heaven.

God wants us to take this path, will you accept the challenge?

There are many distractions in life that may hinder us from following god's path of righteousness. Some may desire to be a truthful Christian and always faithful to god but we are constantly distracted by worldly concerns and also the many other temptations that get into our way. There are also many other people who will question your faith and tell you that it is a waste of time to go to church.
There are countless Obstacles!!!
Many Excuses!

Could it be because we are seeking something else?
Wealth?
Family concerns?
People who trying to convince you that god doesn't exist?
Or is it just you seeking for something else in life?


Wealth is not eternal and we should seek for things that are eternal, something that we can bring when we enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 6:19 says: 'Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, here your heart will be also.

In this shaky world with many recent happenings, aren’t you convince that wealth is not eternal. Wealth cannot give us a sense of security.

During this economic crisis who would expect a big financial institution Lehman brothers to collapse in an instance, leading to widespread chaos and panicky businessmen losing millions of dollars in an instance, wiping out their fortunes and leading to many bankrupt and people committing suicide.


I am deeply saddened by the recent chaos in the world. From the global financial crisis, the alarming HIV infection rate, Political turmoil in Bangkok, the shaky government in Burma to the Mumbai bombings that killed around 200 people.

God is the only firm foundation in this constantly shaky world!

See what happen when too many people are sinning?

If everyone seeks god's path of righteousness, all these chaos will not happen!

I am very touched when I see Eve fighting so hard to follow god's path of righteousness even when her family are against it. I will Support you all the way!

I believe strongly that we can convince your parents, for once I was also an enemy of Jesus Christ.
Have faith, don't give up!

Same goes to Shirley, continue to pray hard, trust god to lead you out of darkness.

I have a challenge for VJC and I strongly believe that we can do it together as a school.


Sponsor A Child



The Child Sponsorship Programme addresses the root causes of poverty and diseases, helping the children, their families and communities break the cycle of poverty.

When you sponsor a child for a donation of $45 per month, World Vision helps your sponsored child through the Area Development Programme in his/her community. So let’s make it 4 children a year.
And if we do this every year in VJC, we can change the lives of 4 children!
